Mods

The mods

Eight mods and the pack that installs them. Each one waits for a particular moment in a session, and stays quiet the rest of the time.

While Claude works on your code

When the work can go to a cheaper model

While you work, and while you’re away

  • statuslineWhile you work. One line under the prompt shows how full the conversation is and how much of your plan is left. Adds a view; nothing to measure.
  • etaWhen a long job runs. A bar and a finish time appear above the prompt. Adds a view; nothing to measure.
  • smart-compactWhen you step away. Your session is kept ready, or tidied up before it goes cold, whichever costs less. Worked out from prices, not measured.

The pack itself

  • modpackInstalls the others, switches them, keeps them current. /mods turns any of them off or on, right away. Stops waiting for a hanging hook after 10 seconds10 s10 s

How they fit together

The mods never call each other. Each finds the others through Claude Code itself, and works alone when they are missing.

statusline is the line the others write on: smart-compact adds its ready or cold there. lsp-plus warms each language’s server at the start, so cells and delegate meet a warm server when they ask it. route gives delegate’s order for feature and test prompts, and seek’s setting rides with the same prompt.

What makes the cut

A mod joins the pack only when:

  • it was measured, and every graded run stayed correct;
  • it saves cost or time, makes the work more reliable, or only adds a view;
  • it works with the other mods and without them, and each part can be switched off;
  • it stays quiet where it has no proof that speaking helps.

Every option of every mod is in the README.
